COURSE OVERVIEW

The Changing Front Line
of Neurologic Care

Neurology is a rapidly advancing field with innovations emerging across
multiple subspecialties. Staying current with new diagnostic strategies,
therapeutics and technologies is increasingly important for clinicians
managing complex neurologic disease.

This two-day course addresses vanguard topics including
generative artificial intelligence,
neurotherapeutics, gene therapies, neuromodulation and novel diagnostics.

The educational program spans vascular neurology, dementia, neurogenetics,
neuro-oncology, headache, movement disorders, neuroimmunology,
neuromuscular disease, epilepsy, neurocritical care, traumatic brain injury,
rehabilitation and broader issues affecting contemporary neurologic practice.

THE NEUROLOGY CLINICAL BRIEFING

Five Forces Changing Neurology

01 • TECHNOLOGY

AI in Neurologic Practice

Explore emerging artificial intelligence tools and their role in modern neurologic care.

02 • THERAPEUTICS

New Treatment Strategies

Review advances across epilepsy, headache, immune-mediated disease,
dementia and other neurologic disorders.

03 • NEUROMODULATION

Stimulating the Nervous System

Study noninvasive brain stimulation and deep brain stimulation
within contemporary neurologic practice.

04 • PRECISION NEUROLOGY

Genetics & Emerging Diagnostics

Connect neurogenetics and evolving diagnostic approaches with patient care.

05 • HUMAN CONTEXT

Equitable & Compassionate Care

Consider global health, disparities, functional neurological disorders,
transgender neurology, substance use and climate-related challenges.

CLINICAL LANDSCAPE

Stroke & Cerebrovascular Disease
Acute stroke innovation and management of unruptured aneurysms.
Neuroimmunology
Multiple sclerosis, demyelinating disease and immune-mediated neuropathies.
Neuromuscular Medicine
Contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic advances.
Neuro-Oncology
Innovations in the management of neurologic malignancy.
Brain Injury & Neurocritical Care
Anoxic injury, traumatic brain injury, concussion and brain death.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

What You Will Learn

Integrate Emerging Technologies & Therapies

Evaluate emerging technologies including generative AI,
transcranial magnetic stimulation and deep brain stimulation,
and consider their application across neurologic disorders.

Integrate Compassionate Care

Identify strategies for neurologic care in the context of global health,
health disparities, transgender neurology, functional neurological
disorders and substance use.

Apply Advances Across Neurology

Strengthen knowledge in dementia, movement disorders, neurogenetics,
neuroimmunology, neuro-oncology and surgical management to improve
diagnostic and treatment approaches.
